One horse town on the horses day off.

Snow on the bikes this morning.
10am and it's still raining.

We've both done the "riding in crap weather" thing before and neither of us are wildly keen to do it again. We have warm clothing and waterproofs but it's not so much fun in the cold and wet in open face helmets.
I think I would have problems with the waterproofs anyway as my right leg rests on the exhaust pipe & I don't expect that they are designed to be that heat resistant.

The storm is suposed to break tonight so we should have sun tomorrow for the run through Bryce and up Highway12 to Torrey.

The gun salesman we spoke to today did warn us that the road does get pretty high at one point (9400 ft) so we'll see what happens.
We did do a couple of miles this evening to get some food.
